Dr. Wirtz contoured this young man's chest to reflect his underlying athletic anatomy by removing abnormal breast tissue called gynecomastia. By using liposuction, the pectoralis muscle could be accentuated and sculpted. Dr. Wirtz placed the incisions around the areola which allowed for removal of excess skin and reshaping of the areola to avoid a second incision.
